There were Revision Lists for this family in 1797, 1811 and 1826. The 1811 Revision List does not include females so Anne is not listed. But the 1826 Revision List has her name listed. This farm census list shows that the old manager, Klawe (son of Klawe) had died in 1825. This was Anne’s father. The eldest son Kristops had moved to the other Kauliņu farm since the last census in 1811 and the youngest son, Ans, is 15 years old.
The current manager is Indriks. This man was the husband of Anne’s eldest sister, Lawize. They would eventually take the surname Gulbis. Indriks lives here with his wife (Lawize) and their 4 sons and 2 daughters. Also living with them is a 76-year-old widow named Liese who I have not yet identified. Plus Trine, Anne’s widowed mother. Anne and her sister Trine are listed as being unmarried maidens. Their ages are not correct but that was very common in these lists. It would depend on who was giving the information and how much they really knew about this family.
Anne was living with her sister, Grieta Vigants, at Daukšu farm in 1830 when she married a young man named Geddert. Geddert was living at Bleķu Samela farm right across t he road at the time. In April 1832, they had their first child, a son named Dāvis. Dāvis would eventually become the father of Aspazija.
Geddert and Anne were living at Reņču Jahna farm when Dāvis was born. This farm was where Geddert’s family had been closely associated for many years. Two weeks after the birth of their son, Dāvis, Anne died of childbirth complications. She was 27 years old.
Anne’s older sister, Trine, would become the 2nd wife of Anne’s widowed husband, Geddert.
